.

I'm saying it comes to somewhat of an abrupt stop, and want it to be more jagged and less rounded.

Sun Area

Are you saying that the grey fading out behind the sun rays comes to an abrupt stop, and you want it to fade out more?

Also

One more thing, the top portion of the suns rays still seem to give off an even edge somewhat, and not quite the staggered look I was looking for, if that makes sense?

Almost there

This is much better, I have it narrowed down to yourself and one other. I was hoping you could give me a rough sketch of how it would look on the arm as a 3/4 sleeve, and possibly a version with a small touch of dark colors on the planets. I know I said gray scale, but I'm curious as to what it would look with small amounts of color. Love the asteroid belt and the shooting star.

Great

Hey, I think it's a great design so far, but I think the bottom half after the asteroid belt is still a little dark. The thunk the planets could be a little bigger, but the spacing 9verall is good I honestly like the sun almost as it is, but possibly with a few more details. I think the sum contrasting the shading looks awesome.

What do you think?

Submitted design #227336

I just started this sketch today. It's just pencil, so it can be changed and erased. There is a lot left to do, but I wanted to see what you think so far. Where the clouds spiral down there will be the asteroid belt. There is a lot of highlighting and shading to be done to make it look more 3-D.

Do you like the planets being spaced out so far, or would you rather have them larger and closer together? What kind of sun would you like? Right now it's just the rays. Do you want a white glowing center like we see from Earth? Or an orb of flaming gases like we see in photos from telescopes? Do you like the background dark like it is now? Or do you want more clouds and things so it is lighter?

Let me know your thoughts so I know if I should proceed with this design, or start again :-) Thanks!
