Clarification

Hello Konoha!

Sorry my previous message was confusing: I will try to simplify:

(1) "STILL ALIVE" with semi-colons (;) substituted for the "I"s (middle letter in each word)
(2) A few (not all) of the lines made into circuit board lines
(3) The symbol made larger and like the example image.
(4) Make the circles (planets) a little smaller

Does that make sense? Please let me know if you need more clarification.

If you need to change planets (circles),
Then what would you like to see instead of them?

Hello

I need to clarify the list of changes
1. change the inscription, and make it such an "ST; LL AL, VE ยป,
2. Change lines to circuit boards
3. change the symbol
4. Is it really worth changing the circles?
Sorry, I do not understand English well, but I really like the game portal
I like to work on this sketch, and I was very much waiting for your answer.
Thanks, i will continue to make a

Rating and Feedback

Hello Konoha,

I am very sorry about taking this long to respond - some last-minute work travel and responsibilities have greatly delayed the feedback I had wanted to give you.

First of all - WOW - what a huge (from my perspective) improvement! This looks really awesome and I love all of the changes you were able to make. Below you will find some more constructive feedback:

Pros: (i.e., things that I LOVE about this new design, things you should keep, things that might need just some minor tweaks)
* I LOVE LOVE LOVE the "still alive" in the bottom right-hand corner, for some personal reasons that I won't bother you with. Is there any possible way that you could throw in a semi colon somewhere in that text? Maybe as the "i" in "still" or "alive"? e.g., "ST;LL AL;VE", maybe making one of the semi-colons upside down?
* Love the curves and straight line designs intermingled with the (a)symmetry of it all, just awesome. Is there ANY possibility that you could incorporate some "circuit board" type of aesthetic flair to a portion of the design without changing the overall feel of it?
* That ribbon is just spot on! I love the draped look and feel of it. Nice touch with the portal bookends on it too!

Cons: (i.e., things that might need a big more retooling for the next iteration)
* Is there anyway to make the psi symbol in the middle larger and less curvy? I really like the contrast between the psi and chi in background, but would like the symbol to be a bit more "center stage". For the actual psi symbol itself, I was wondering if you could make it a bit straighter in the sense that the two arms don't dip downward from the base and don't flair so much at the end?
Here is one example of what I'm talking about - see the left symbol in the following image:
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/62/Greek_letter_psi.svg/800px-Greek_letter_psi.svg.png
I'm also somewhat partial to a more trident-esque version, as seen in the lower symbol here:
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e6/Greek_letter_psi.png
* I do like the 5 circles up top, but it just seems like they take up quite a bit of space relative to the rest of the design. Anyway to make them smaller or more integrated with the rest of the design?

Thanks, I really appreciate your effort on this. Please let me know if you have any questions.

New sketch

Thank you for your comment. I will take your comments into account. I'll try to make a sketch based on the symbol. But I will keep the style of the game portal.

Rating and Feedback

Hi Konoha!

Thanks very much for the submission. I like your style and love the "this was a triumph" text - cool font and great ribbon.

For some constructive feedback, I was looking for a design where the symbol was the main aspect and then perhaps some additional abstract/science stuff added for flair. I wasn't necessarily thinking this would primarily be a Portal tattoo as much as a psi chi symbol tattoo.

Based on this, I was going to assign a 3 star rating to this specific design and add a public comment that clarifies this. Also, I am going to look up some more example photos that might exemplify this "sciency symbol" style that I'm looking for Does that sound OK? Any questions for me?
