Excellent

I'll withdraw the other one then and hope to catch you on the other side.

Submitted design #260775

Here it is again with the changes. I used a somewhat-blocky, somewhat-scripty font that should work better than a straight script but is more fancy than a block.

Sorry it took a bit longer than I anticipated to get it redone.

Will do

May not have something to you until tomorrow night, though.

OK

No problem removing the flames from the leg. The tattooist won't have any problems with these colours -- they are standard tattoo ink colours. The gold is just a yellow, white (very little) and shading.

The script, however, is another thing.I'll give you some facts and leave the judgement call up to you -- you can let me know whether you still want script or not. Tattoo ink blurs (and fades) over time. A decade or maybe even two (depending on placement, sun exposure, etc.) is generally not a problem. The blurring is especially noticeable in text, and script is the worst. You'd have a thin script surrounded by black. While black holds better than any other ink, I'm concerned that over time you wouldn't be able to read the names at all. You see a lot of tattoos get done that will look awful over time. Some tattooists will refuse to do those kinds of tattoos, some won't. I've attached a picture of a 15-year-old tattoo to give you an example.

This is where your judgement comes in. Sometimes folks just don't care what it will look like, either due to age or because they will always know what it says and that's more important to them or some other reason. Some folks want to keep it as readable for as long as possible.

Let me know which route you want to take and I can either change it to a script or change it to a different block type (they hold up better at this size) if you don't like this one.

Thanks!

Let's remove the flames from the top (off the dragons leg) and change the block lettering to a script and you're right about the sizing so let's see if the script would look better. Worried about the gold color, but I like it so can a tattoo artist do gold? It's looking really good. Thanks Chief

Took a couple days longer than I thought, but here is a submission. If you call Samantha "Sam" or something short like that, it would be better for the tattoo.

All feedback is welcome to help me create a great design for you. Replying here instead of the public area sends me notifications of your reply & keeps them private.

Thanks!
