Move the L where the D is and move the D to the left of the N. More color on the shell.

Would like the L & C flip flopped, just show turtle, no background, more colors in the shell, orange, yellow brown etc.

When I spend many hours working on a design, I think something is wrong and I start to not like it. Actually, I think you have the right and the design is very good. I flip it over because I missed that it was for my right hand. This is the right direction.

May sound strange but I don't like the first design. I like it, but feel cause something isn't right. I tried a lot of sketches and perspectives and I finally found out how should be. The only thing I want to know is the order of the letters does matter?

I have not selected anyone yet. Can you incorporate jewel tones in to the art?

Tattoo artist

Have you already decide which tattoo artist will do the tattoo? If yes, can I see his / her work somewhere?

Colors

Submitted design #367074

I have not yet considered the right colors, but I have some ideas. Here's a quick test of colors. Of course, to be even more beautiful and realistic even some of the lines will be colorful. The colors will be discussed with you later, but let me finish the design with black-gray first. The letters I personally think will be better to lightly overflow into the colors of the shell, otherwise, it will create a slightly cartoonish feeling.
I am guided by the size which you have indicated, but if there is room according to your body and an idea bigger will be even better.

I love it! What colors would you suggest? How big do you think it should be to catch the detail? Would you make the letters the same color?

Hello!
My name is Valentin.
I will be happy to work with you and offer you a unique design.
Basically, I do not often participate in contests because I'm pretty busy at my tattoo shop, but with the idea to have the freedom to travel more and be able to work from everywhere I have decided to start again working more online.

My style is a mixture of comic realism and graphics. My observations over the years have taught me that in order to withstand the test of time, the tattoo should have good contrast and lines. The lines are not very characteristic of the realistic style, so I use the technique of comics realism. Which keeps the tattoo in time and makes it much sharper and more expressive on the skin. In this case, it helps quite well for the combination of the letters and the turtle. I saw that you want the design to be colorful, but this is the final stage of my work. I prefer to work first black and gray this helps me to make a good contrast. Then it will be easier for us to choose the appropriate colors. I hope you like your design so far. Since it is quite detailed and time-consuming, I decided to upload it at this stage to understand what you are thinking and whether it is worth continuing.
