Dandelion & Lion Version #4

Submitted design #33625

Thanks for the feedback, it really is appreciated. Here’s the fourth version of the lion. I tried to make the mane less “flowery” looking. I spaced the pedals out, as well as tried to curve them. Hopefully you’ll like this version better. If it’s not quite it, could you let me know what you had when you said less flowery? I could make the pedals more concaved like I had in the 2nd set of submissions. Thanks

On the right track!

Ooooo #3 is a LOT closer to what I had in mind! Something about his head is still not striking me quite right though. I liked the idea of the dandelion petals replacing the lion's mane, but could I see what it looks like if the mane is less "flowery"?

Dandelion & Lion Version #3

Submitted design #33488

Hello again. Thanks for the feedback, it really is appreciated. Here’s the third version of the lion. I tried to make the entire body, legs, and head more fluid. I also tried to make the lion’s expression more stoic.

Update on feedback

Hey. Thank you for the feedback. I'm glad you liked the 2nd version more. I will try to tone down the deatil a bit. I think I understand where you're coming from when you say fluid, as in less defined and more curved like water. Please let me know if that's what you were thinking. I'll also turn that smile upside down. I'll have something for you as soon as I can. Thanks again.

Too Detailed

Hi there, sorry for not getting back to you sooner. This is a lot better - I prefer without the teeth, of the two. I think it's a bit too much detail though. Could you make the lines of his legs/body a little more "fluid" if that makes sense? Also, maybe make his face a little less "smiley" looking and more regal/stoic?

Feedback?

Hello, I had not heard back from you regarding the 2nd version of my lion/dandelion. I just wanted to know what you thought about the look and style/feel of the design. Is this closer to what you had in mind? If not can you provide me with some specifics about what you like and don't like. I'd really appreciate it. Thanks

Dandelion & Lion Version #2A Rough Idea

Submitted design #33178

Hello. Thanks for the feedback, it really is appreciated. I think I get what you’re looking for. I agree that my first design was too cartoonish, but that’s what’s great about this site, ideas can be refined to ultimately get what a person is looking for. I tried another version of the design, a lot different than the first version. Hopefully this will be closer to what you’re looking for. I tried to do more of the simple curved lines, yet still have the lion project strength. I did not know if you wanted the dandelion seed blowing off in the wind. This version of the lion has teeth. Let me know what you think, and we’ll go from there. Thanks.

Too Cartoony

Thanks so much for the submission! I like the concept of the lion's mane being the dandelion petals, but the whole thing is a bit too "cartoon-y" for me, if that makes sense. Maybe something with slightly less detail? I had a look through your profile and stylistically I'm looking for something a little more like "forearm guitar dragon" entry you submitted. Let me know if that helps, or if you need more clarification, and thank you again!

Dandelion & Lion Version #1 Rough Idea

Submitted design #33120

Here is the first version of the idea I had for the design. This is strictly a rough outline. I tried to make the lion tough looking, but in a playful style. The dandelion pedals are replacing the lion’s mane. The lion is looking up at one of the seeds from the dandelion blowing off towards some new adventure. I just wanted to get some feedback from you before proceeding.
