Newest entry

I really like this newest entry but I think the center sword is slightly larger. Maybe about halfway between this one and the last iteration? Also, I really like the bladework. Any chance of getting the other two to match? They shouldn't be identical, and we have to worry about making it too busy, but something in that rough style?

Hi Fiery

Hello!

Thanks for participating.

I was looking through your profile and I really like the color accents in some of your other pieces, so it's great to have you on board. I also liked the hilt of your solamnic sword.

As far as feedback, it's hard to say exactly since it's a sketch and the devil's in the details.

But I would like the blades to be thinner with a longer proportion blade-to-handle. I would also like the center sword to be longer, and be a two-handed sword (more like a claymore). I'm not a very nitpicky person, but I do know my way around historical swords (I teach military history), so the farther we get from the basic proportions and shapes the less well it's going to work for me.

I think the main challenge behind this competition is going to be how to make the blade part of the swords look interesting. I thought of suggesting damascus steel but I think that will be too busy. Or maybe something just ever-so-slightly into the fantasy sword category (I like the diamond blade decoration you have in the longsword).

Cheers

Hello. I was interested in your individual project. It's quite interesting and unusual. Could you give me some of your precious time and comment on your opinion on my first drawing? I'll ask you to evaluate it harshly and straightforwardly. The more corrections and additions the better! I sincerely want to understand your thoughts and create a truly individual and high quality tattoo sketch. Sincerely, Fiery.
