Hello

will be done.
80% of hours and compass,
20% of the sand.
All the rest will remain the same

One last edit before the end of the contest.

One last edit before the end of the contest.
So I really like everything you've done and I think you may be the winner.
I want to ask you for one last edit to help the design.
The crumbling of the clock and compass seem a little dark. Can you look at my last comments to you and change a little bit of the clock and the compass.
The crumbling is too dark and should only be the top 20% of the item.
Please read my last notes and if you have any questions - just ask.

Hello

Thanks for the tip. I hope I drew everything you asked for. Later I will lay out a sketch with good quality.

Thanks for the edits

You got the idea I was hoping for.
Only suggested edit would be that only like a little (20% or so) of each item be be crimbling and big crumbles at first and smaller as they turn into sand size in the middle. Less sand (except toward the middle) and I love your clock and compass! I don't want to lose too much of your clock and compass - they are too beautiful!

I love your edits

Everything is really coming together. The hourglass is AMAZING now! Really beautiful round robust - I can see the curves! Beautiful!

Good job on the clock crumbling and going through the middle and reforming into the compass. You understand my idea well!

If you are willing ...I want to try one more edit on the crumbling of the clock and compass.
As the clock crumbles can it start with 5 or 6 or 7 larger pieces and crumble into smaller peices and then tiny sand size peices (like you have now) as it goes through the middle. The same for the compass... it breaks into larger peices and crumbles and then smaller and then sand size (like you have now) as it goes through the middle.

I hope this makes sense. But overall I really love your edits!

I took your comments into account.
I did volume, added small details and drew a smooth outline of the clock.

You are in the top two

Thanks for your question. Your design is awesome and in my top two!
The reason I had the contest extended was to give one artist I liked an opportunity to do some edits.
I'm not sure they will do the edits as I have asked.

Thank you for your most recent edits. You captured the crumble we talked about.
Is it possible to have the crumbles in bigger peices and as they get to the middle then the crumbles get smaller?
Also the hourglass, the bottom section(left side) the line looks bad. Can you make the hour glass look more round/3D. Everything else I really like.

Hello

Hello, I wanted to know.
The competition was extended. You did not choose the winner.
Should I redo the sketch or make a new one?

Hello

Hello, I made an example of metamorphosis.
The clock and the compass are scattered.
It's pretty hard to draw and come up with.
Here's what it looks like:
If this sounds like your idea,
Then later I will redo the sketch and show the full version.
Waiting for your comment.

Feedback

Think of it as....
The defined crumbles of the items are the sand and the crumbles merge in the middle

I will try to replace the sand.
But in the hourglass there must be sand, it's logical.
For the sake of interest and comparison, I will redo the sketch

Yes

Yes I think you understand. I just want to see the difference.

They crumble into peices --- and the peices meet in the middle.

The crumble happens only in the middle--- only where the two items meet and turn into each other. I don't want to lose the definition and integrity of either the clock or compass rose.

Hope that helps! Thank!

I want to clarify. If I understood correctly,
You need to replace the sand with the details of the clock and the compass?
They crumble to pieces, merging in the center of the hourglass.

sorry

Sorry for the short answer. I do not understand English well.
But I try to translate what you say to understand

Last edit

I like most everything. I would like to see the clock face (bottom) breaking into smaller "defined peices" that go move through the middle of the hourglass...and the smaller defined peices reforming into the compass rose as they pass through the middle. I think the sand effect takes away from the integrity and design and grandeur of each item. I hope this makes sense. I think the dotilism of the sand takes away from the metamorphosis. That's my only correction and then I can compare the two styles of metamorphosis.

Thank you

Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad that you liked it. I have a question,
In the sketch you need to change something? Or leave everything like this?

NICE WORK

Very nice work! I've got some hard choices to make. Thanks for the corrections. The symmetry and Balance are really nice! I really like the hourglass defined.

How do you feel about the metamorphosis from the clock face into the compass. Do you think that the clock face losses it's integrity by turning into sand? Your design is so nice that I'm wondering if you have a perspective on the metamorphosis through the center of the hourglass.

I'm curious if it would be better for the clock face (very bottom) to be breaking up into smaller defined pieces as they go through the center of the hourglass. The smaller defined peices then reform into the top of the compass rose (smaller defined peice) forming the top of the compass. The metamorphosis into sand takes away from your art and just wondering what your take on the design is. The dissolving of one into the other and how you think it would be best represented and still retaining the integrity of the items themselves.

Your in the top two. I want your take as an amazing artist on how you see the design idea working best.

Also

Can the hourglass be more defined as an hourglass? Thinking it doesn't stand out as a defined hourglass the way it shows now. Awesome work again!

Amazing - really nice!

Your design floored me- very nice! I love be the detail and fine line work. Looking over it it was hard to be critical- very well done!. The only thing I can think that would be worth trying is to see if the clock could be going through the middle of the hourglass and metamorphosisizing into the AMAZING compass rose (love your design). Almost like the clock face and the compass rose are the grains of sand. So instead of grains of sand - it is time and direction that flow into each other. I'm not sure if this is possible with your amazing fine line work but that is the idea behind the hourglass with those to two items in it. Instead of sand it is the two items flowing into each other. Hey - WELL DONE! - you in the top two!!
