I like to start ideas with a rough sketch, then after good feedback, I work on the final. I also like to post progress to get even more feedback. Sometimes its hard to personalize with a potential client, so I try to ask questions pertained to the piece Im working on. Sometimes ethnicity, religion, age, profession, and hobbies can tell me about a person, this helps me with ideas.
