Tattoo artist for seven years, crossed over from graphic novels and comic book illustration. Worked in a tattoo studio doing tattoos and flash design in those seven years. Mainly doing comics now and tattoos off and on (past eight years) I count the time in the tattoo studio for the seven, but moved and sold my share ownership. Now rent a chair when needed here in town. All linework comes with examples to show how the effects are transferred into workable tattoos. And I won't try to sway you in choosing anything of mine here by putting down anyone else. After all, it is you who will buy the art and wear it as a tattoo. I draw by hand using a Koh-I-Noor rapidomatic lead machincal pencil, Copic multiliner pens for the outlines, and Copic sketch markers for color. Then I use Element 7 ( a program used for photographs, not like illustrator used for graphic design) to scan the art into the computer and make any changes in the way of sharpness, light, and contrast so it shows up better on the site.. My plan is to donate money from here to The Childrens Miracle network. Why not, it's all about karma when you are in the position to do so.
