I got your message about the Light Wolf gaining the upper hand, so I enlarged the white wolf's head on #6. We'll see how that looks.

Thanks,

74 and 29 have a slightly bigger edge, I think. They're a bit more dynamic, there's a little more forward momentum. The design here isn't bad, but the more I look at it, the less I'm impressed by their shape and positioning (not trying to be insulting here, I just think the other two designs are really cool).

One of the things I've been struggling with this whole concept is that the yin-yang is all about balance, whereas the story of the two wolves is more about one side triumphing over the other one. So I've got two kind of dueling messages here, and I'm struggling to work with that because at the end of the day I want to be a man who has the Light Wolf win. If you want to try to work that in, cool. With them positioned the way they are I'm just not even getting a real sense of combat.

The strength of these designs resides in their symmetry, so I'm not sure you can do that. Having the light on top certainly helps, but try working more with those earlier designs if you want to make any tweaks.

It's a three-artist race at this point. You're still in the running, so if you want to play around with those designs with the information I've given you, feel free. Thanks.

Can you adjust it so that the black and white are a little more vertical, or at least diagonal? I like the design, but the yin-yang is getting lost a little. . . .

Can you adjust it to make it look a little less evocative of the "Thundercats" symbol? It's good, but see if you can change it up a little.

NICE

Nice on this one and the abstract. No worries about the cat thing. The DESIGN itself is really cool, but I think you had the misfortune of just having me look at and say "hey . . . that looks like Blackie."

Like the shading . . . I DO like the Abstract one too, though. . . Hmmmmm . . .

I added some shading to the wolves to give them more dimension in the fur and stuff. If the black wolf looked like your black cat, I apologize. That was not my intent.

Thanks,

Wow, this is really cool too. The contrast in the eyes is nice, a more effective color contrast than the gold/blue one from the previous drawing.

The black wolf reminds me of a cat I used to have. God, I loved that cat . . . it's weird to see it here representing all the negative qualities of man. Can you tweak it a LITTLE so maybe it looks more wolfish? Not trying to be a pain here. I like the are more here, but I think I liked the WOLVES in the first one more, though.

Hey,

I decided to add another version to the mix, where the wolves' heads are turned a little more forward, with both eyes visible. Please let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Noel L.
