Love it! Thanks so much. I thought the colors on the older design were very eye catching, but I really do love the simplicity of this design. You're awesome!

Yes! That looks great! The only thing I noticed is that one end of the center design is not touching me at the top.

Hi again. I hate to ask you to do anything else since you've done so many changes as it is. But, if you want to take more time and try out some new looks with the design I would be really appreciative. After showing your previous design to someone they suggested that the amount of details in the lines would be complicated to capture in a 3" x 3" tattoo. What I really like about your design is the way it captures the interconnectedness of me and my sons and how we are one unit. I love your idea about me being the light and the wisdom. And, though you probably didn't intend it, the triangular shape in the center looks like a woman's womb, so I love what that represents, as well. So, I would love to see what you could do with the design, I just hate to keep asking you to change it, that's all. If you're willing, that'd be great. :)

Did you want the design just with bolder lines? Without color to make it look more tribal?

How bout this

If you do decide to choose my work, I am allowed to send multiple files. I can just send you all the samples that I have made today. So when the contest is over you can really have a long sit down with all the designs and decide. I will update with just the #1 example in a little bit either way.

Okay, now you're just making this hard! LOL They all look good. I love #1 - that blueish/yellow combo is really nice and adds a new element to the overall design. If I were to pick just one, that'd be it. Thank you so, so much.

I really like the original colors, especially the depth of the zodiac symbols, so that works great. I do think it needs something in the middle, though, so you were right about that from the start. The circle was nice, but I just didn't want the same circle design as the son on the right. A smaller circle in the center? Or maybe the same size as the original with just a different design or color? What do you think?

So I made a smaller rectangle within the blue rectangle the same color as the younger brothers sign. Representing the younger of the two. Would that work?

How bout this? Or do you really want to keep that middle circle? If so maybe I could change it into a heart? Or a pentacle maybe?

Let me know what you want specifically for the middle and I can just go ahead and do it.

Cheers.

Now that I see this, I think I like your original idea better. Sorry to make you go to the trouble of changing it, but seeing it a different way made me appreciate the way it looked originally. So, if we went back to the original, with the original colors, could we maybe make that center circle a little different, just so it doesn't look like the same design/color as the son on the right? Thanks again. Really pleased with your design idea and how it captures the meaning without being too obvious.

I think this is quite nice and captures the connection I want to show with my children. I'm wondering if we can take out the center circle and then bring the rest in a little tighter or closer together. Would you mind trying that to see how it works? Thanks so much for your creativity. : ) - Janine

So I felt this was elegant without trying to hammer the nail on the head as far as the meaning is concerned. You symbolize the sun and the moon at the top, representing the guiding light through dark times and in brighter times, radiating warmth and wisdom.

The two signs of the boys at the bottom with each surrounding circle representing their lives and how all three interact with each other to create a family unit.
