Looking for a badass half sleeve snowboarder tattoo. Looking for real quality here. Will pay good price.
Description:
This tattoo will be a half sleeve on my right arm going completely around the arm. I'm looking for a windy, blizzard type background with a mountain range and a snowboarder silhouette. I have provided an image of the snowboarder silhouette I want to use and a couple of mountain range images. I want the tattoo to be gray scale so as far as the background goes it can be like a wind bar or blizzard like, whatever you can make look cool without color. I also don't want the moutains and silhouette to stand out too much. I would like everything to kind of be blended together evenly. Also, it's for a male so I want it to look a mean and badass. For example, try and make the mountains look scary and intimidating as opposed to snowy and beautiful.

Dude, your description sounds spot on. I can't wait to see what you draw up. I will definitely wait. I am in no hurry. I want to see all options and make sure I choose the perfect design.
In terms of feel and atmosphere what I visualize is slightly oriental influenced flow and contrast. The best powder is in japan after all and they are the masters of artistically portraying the elements. For example, adding clouds, wind and incorporate a number of negative space snow flakes. Then where we add the snowboarding dude well see some gnarly mountain edges and lethal looking terrian.
Instead of a silhouette I'd suggest giving this bloke some form? Can be achieved by heavy contrast between the reflection from the snow and over casting mountains, making him appear somewhat stenciled. That way we give the focal point the weight it will need and give the image a really dynamic look like we've captured that feeling of flying that I'd imagine you cant get any other way.
Let me know what you think. No rush though I can't get started till Tuesday so hang tight. Regards, NailZ
