Is there a reason it is so small? I mean were your putting it is going to hurt even if its a little bigger. I am thinking maybe 6x3ish. Is that ok so I can put some detail in it?

Oh, I apologize for having jumped into conclusions...
I had actually sketched out a design with a rod in there before I posted the comment on here, so I could forget that lol. Hmmm...what other thing could serve as a reminder of your childhood? Perhaps it could go along nice with the grunt.

Hah yeah I guess saying make it interesting is easier said than done. The tattoo isn't really about fishing as much as it is about what the fish means to me and how I find it representative and a reminder of my childhood. So for that reason I am not really sure how I feel about a rod. I wouldn't mind if it was in the water or something though. I actually have an idea that might make it a little more interesting but ill get back to you tomorrow with that and some other ideas.

Would you mind a rod fishing it out of the water or something of the sort? Or do just want the fish by itself? It's kind of hard to make it look interesting if it's not being fished or something haha.
