Some of the other submissions I've gotten have a bit of a shadow under the crab to make him look just a bit more 3D. Would it be possible to add that to this design?

The more I look at this the more I like it.

I do like this. I was wondering about the date. 2.5 would be just fine, especially if that would help make the date clearer.

Didn't do a solid outline for how small it was. I think color with dark shading would be best.

The date I put on the wrench where the maker/size would typically go. It will be small but if done right it should hold up with time to come.

Of course the crab can be put on your foot at any angle you want.

Can make changes after the contest if you do choose my work. Take care.

If you can do 2.5x1.5 inches I'd recommend it. Just so it doesn't spread together as bad. If you only want 2 inches wide I'd not get the date or perhaps put the date somewhere else but it will be more obvious.
