where your original design should go. The dragon scales should be able to perfectly cover up the part that extends into the neck. With the right shading, it would be invisible. :)

A larger concept of a dragon encountering a phoenix for your tattoo. Your original is on top in the wings. :)
This Dragon is a fusion of the lightening god Quetzalcoatl and a western Black Dragon-- created to give you something unique. The phoenix is supposed to battle/encounter/balance out the design.
Unfortunately, I only had time to ink it. If you like this design, I'll be happy to work with you to get the colors just right. Good luck with your tattoo. ^___^
