Summary:
Scottish inspired greyscale shoulder and upper arm piece.
Description:
I would like a tattoo designed which is loosely Scottish based.
Size:
Entire shoulder (deltoid) to midway down upper arm (bicep). This is approximately 9" long by 6" wide.
Coloring:
Greyscale with liberal use of shading (potentially may turn it into a 1/2 or full sleeve later)
Initial ideas:
-Lion and/or chained unicorn but more realistic looking as opposed to the "Lion rampant". A different take on the coat of arms.
-Celtic work.
-Sword or thistle.
-leaving a "x" void in the greyscale as the Scottish flag.
In summary, I would like a tattoo involving some of the above elements (and open to others) which have Scottish significance but the link being subtle. (no blatant flags or rampant lions etc).
I have had a difficult time trying to put this together myself so I hoping someone with some real talent can help me out!

I am glad to hear you are going to sketch something out! To answer your questions:
-I would prefer a close-up portrait
-I don't want any writing in it
I am looking for an interesting Celtic style (but with realistic aspects) tattoo that symbolizes different Scottish symbols without being blatantly obvious about it. The fighting animals sounds great - it would be cool to include some other aspects such as:
-a small thistle somewhere
-a sword as in the crest
-Celtic knot work
I am really looking forward to seeing your interpretation and will feedback promptly.
Thanks,
Mike
Also, I do not know what the motto on the Scottish crest means, but would you like some of it or all of it in your design? If so, would you post the exact wording you would like to see in your response?
This design idea is really fun :-)
Thanks,
Mike
Thank you for the invitation. I would like to do this design for you, but unfortunately I'm very busy at this moment, and I must prioritize my private costumers.
Thanks again
