Running First Marathon Tattoo

First Marathon & First Tattoo: Help me commemorate my first endurance event with my first tattoo!

Description:

I'm running my first marathon - the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC at the end of October.  I want a tattoo (my first) to commemorate my journey/accomplishment.  I would like the tattoo on my upper arm.  The theme should be running and not necessarily military but perhaps incorporating the 37th MCM logo (marinemarathon.com)??? but not committed to it.  I would like color but not bright.

Technically, i have no specific design so very open to creativity.
