I'm new to the process... which one would be considered the "winner" in that case?

in the design transfer page, i can upload all 3 files: female, male, and the stencil.

If we put these two color versions together, we've got a winner!

the scan washed out the colors a bit but don't worry, your tattoo artist will saturate the colors. whoever tattoos you can also change the colors for you. say if you wanted more purple in the female or more blue in the male.

i work thursday but i'm off friday and i'll have the revised version for you before the contest end.

Oh... I see now. You are right - the forgiveness should be on the female side and loyalty on the male side, so leave those as they are. I'd love for the male to be primarily blue and green with yellow and the female to be primarily purple and blue with yellow.

And I can't wait to see them with the tails.

the male on right has the kanji for loyalty and the female on the left has the kanji for forgiveness.

do you want me to flip the male and female? or just the kanji so that the female has the kanji for loyalty and the male, forgiveness?

as for colors, would you like them to match? or the male to have blues and purples only, without the greens and yellow?

i'll also work on the tails.

I love this design. Could you possibly expand on the tails to make them look more like phoenix? And, I wonder if you would change the orange and red one to purple and blue???
