Glad you've liked my work and I really like this design--I'm definitely a music guy and appreciate it's power. But for me it would be a bass clave ;) lol

I think we got it this time, it's going to be a tough decision to pick a winner!

I'm back from traveling and it took 3 days to fix our internet! AAH! So I'll put that together now and see what you think! :) I appreciate you extending the contest: thank you!

Go with the font in #39100 and try my idea with just a glimpse of the bottom of the neck, a fret or two like I said in my earlier comment. Don't make the frets bigger than the upper ones, I think that's why they looked out line?! :P

Please think about it (no pressure--it's permanent!) so I would rather we get it exactly how you want it. I also realized that I will be out of town from Fri-next Fri, so I won't be able to alter anything after Friday. However, since it feels like we're close to what you want, if you decide in the end to go with my design, we can tweak it more after the contest is over, so no pressure either way :) It's a pleasure creating art for people who appreciate it, so thank you for giving me an opportunity to make art!

I just wanted a glimpse of the neck on the left side of the g-clef, just one fret or two. It shouldn't go outside of the spikes on the left side. It can be my eyes that fools me but it also looks a little bit big and not in line?! Hmm... perhaps this was a bad idea, realize that maybe the angle of head is wrong for the other end to look good! :P
Also prefer the other font before these two, sorry to be such a pain in the ass! You have been very patience with me! Let me think a day or two, but I think I actually prefer the #39100 version.

OK so there's more guitar now and the top font is an old english font, while the lower is called 'Harrington'. I thought your original font was nice, but if you like/don't like either of these, just let me know and we'll find another option. Thanks!

I see! OK yeah I can do that no problem. I'll play around with fonts and see what looks good.

You missunderstood me! I don't want to move the neck, I want the neck to continue behind the g-clave so that a little bit of the bottom of the neck is showing to the left of the g-clave.
I'm not totally happy with that font, the letter u looks a little bit strange. Could you try some other fonts that you think would look good, I totally trust your design skills! :)

Damn, I forgot about the font. lol OK I can move the guitar neck, but can you give me more detail about where you would like to try it? From the left or bottom of the clef?

Nice work with the fender neck, perhaps a glimpse of it at the other end of the g-clave? I hope that the details of the neck will be possible on the real tattoo!

Can do: I'm guessing you only want the end of the neck, as in the picture, which would keep the design more or less circular/square (i.e. not having a really long guitar neck poking out of one side.). Give me a bit and I'll stick one of those in there for you :)

Yeah I know you didn't want any colors, I guess I just meant I hadn't filled anything in yet. OK so I'll put some more detail in here and play around with notes, etc. Do you have any font in mind for the words? Glad you like it!!

Really like your idea with the drum sticks and the text ribbons and with the g-clave in the center!
First impression about the guitar pick is that it spoiles the symmetry of the design, perhaps if you add some notes on the other side of the g-clave it would look better?!
