Description:
Tattoo to represent a friendship between myself and a dear friend. She is like a sister to me. We both have families and are married to soldiers that are in EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) in the army. We are open to a color and black and grey. We are hoping to get some excellent submissions. The tattoo will be placed on the lower leg, above the ankle. We like the Celtic motherhood symbol would like some wings added like in the second example image.

I am waiting for my friend's impression on your piece as well.
The intent is that we get the same tattoo, but I don't think it would diminish the meaning if they were different, as far as color goes.

I hope is well with you and your best friend. The concept of the design you're wanting is very heart felt and I can emphasize and sympathize with your situation. I've been there myself and i wish you nothing but good fortune and God Speed to you and your's. I would like very much to create a design for you that you will love and that will help to make the sadness in your heart a little more bearable. It will take me a couple of days because I do all my design's by free-hand which to me means the most. Take care and tell your girlfriend "HOWDY" from Groovy and wish her well also. I have seen some wonderful work by artists on this sight and I would love to see some submissions that conceptualize what we are looking for a little more. I am committed to responding to new submissions promptly. If something new catches our interest, well we are open to more interpretations...
We would prefer that the wings relate the Celtic symbol more like the wings relate the "R" symbol in the reference image.
Can you make the wings more like that?
Can you move the heads a little farther apart?
I like that you made the figures in the symbol the same size, but the head placement makes me think more of lovers than of sisters.
