Yea, the image underneath has a lower opacity. But , reading through, I know its too much to do, since the request was just to ADD things.

I am liking your current elephant design. :D I never even SAW the elephants like that either! I am quiet sure youll be winning this one!

your design is great but the lines wouldnt be light going through the face as you showed them, would be full on black. you cant lighten black ink unless you get some laser work done which is spendy but does lighten it.

Love your art though!

I was looking through the entries and I couldn't help but notice that you took a fancy to the yin/yang design... I agree with you, creative and hides the original design of the tattoo. Though, for your sake, I will say that when I first saw it (no offense to MelissaRose, I think your art is fantastic) I first thought of a male's genitalia... And to have that low on your back would be, well... unflattering. I know you don't want it bigger than it already is but I feel that a lot of these designs are worth getting a bigger tattoo over if you want to make it flow nicer than it currently is. I'm not saying this to bash anyone, I'm saying it for your sake so that you may chose a piece that is less... counter-productive?
And again, MelissaRose... I really do love your artwork, it is fantastic! Keep up the good work and I don't mean to offend you in any way. =)

I like many of the designs that have been submitted, thank you. I certainly could not do what you all do. I'm still however, looking for one that does not increase the size of the current tattoo significantly but rather adds design to the current tattoo. For example, it would be great if some of the flower designs could be worked into the current tattoo without placing the main flower on top of the tattoo but rather, WITHIN the current design. If that makes any sense....

people need to remember that black shows through color. So the red heart with the yellow flowers isnt going to cover it up, if you could merely cover black with color Id have a couple of my tats changed too, lol

The Yin/Yang tat is 6 inches wide and about 3 2/8 inch high from the bottom to the tip of the balance symbol. Regarding doves, would you like to see them without color? I could just add color to the branches if you'd like.

Elephants are by far my favorite animal. And, I love the basic swirl. I kind of like all flowers but in particular, Gerber Daisies, cherry blossoms.

Hi,

I like it more with the color, thanks! Question, is there a way to make the current green and purple circle areas into flowers? Using the green and purple as part of the actual flower? .again, trying to hide the current design as much as possible?

I'm about to submit the design in colour but I think your idea about adding many more flowers would be perfect! My only worry is that because you can't tattoo over the black with a softer colour, the flowers will all still have to surround your original tattoo. I think the colours of green and purple (the dots at the end of the swirls) would blend a little better with some shading - i've added a bit on the watercolour version I'm about to submit.
I'll see what I can do about adding some more flowers in. I'll try to pack it full and see how it looks! :)

Hi,

You can go bigger if you'd like. I just had it measured again and the exact length is 5" and height from heighest to lowest point is 1.5".... sorry about the error before. So, you can take it up to 6" length and 3" in height. Your idea of clouds/wind and cherry blossoms sounds pretty cool. I'd be interested in seeing it.

Hello, I understand that yr tattoo is about 8x3 now and I was just wondering about how big would u be willing to go? I know u said not too much... but i just had an idea of maybe turning yr tattoo into clouds/wind with cherry blossoms blowing in it...let me kno what u think... im gonna get started on some sketches.
