Description:
I'm looking to have my first tattoo inked before winter hits.
The placement for the tattoo will be on my left forearm.
I would prefer something in the 2.5" wide by 4" long range.
Ok, the design. I want a Phoenix that is masculine without being all crazy angry - or tribal. I like the flourishes, but I don't want pure tribal. I like flames, but they don't have to be a main element - although I do like it rising out of the flames. I would also like to incorporate the word 'Rise' into the design as well as a subtle letter 'V'.
I paint and work in an artistic industry, creativity is a huge part of my life and I want the tattoo to reflect it.
Finally, I think I would prefer a stylized Phoenix, not something that looks like a flaming sparrow.
I've also attached a few photos. I like elements of them, but they aren't quite it. I HATE the word rise on the first, PLEASE don't use that thinking I like it.

I usually tend to use the asian phoenix as a reference, which provides lots of detail, and my phoenix's are always masculine or feminine as the situation requires, some examples #
Could you work some red into it? Maybe even the v could be red and not completely stick out if other areas carry some red.
I would like to see the rise worked more into the phoenix and a more aggressive head shape. But like I said, this is cool.
