Im gonna give this another shot, with something hand drawn, perhaps..since my other entries are drawn on the computer, and, its pretty hard to capture the essence of freehanding through that. We shall see, I had an idea mulling around in my head earlier while at work. :)

Before I hop on this plane I'd like to thank everyone. You've all made my decision so hard I had to enlist the help of my sister to help me decide and she's worse than I am, so she's no help at all. LOL. But this has been great and more than i could've imagined. So thank you to everyone again. I'll definitely put up another contest shortly. And it'll be open to artist creativity. It'll be a sleeve. I don't want it to be tribal though and the payout will be almost the same. So once this contest is done I'll post it. Just giving everyone a heads up so you can get those creative juices flowin'. ;-)

Thank you for your assistance and help. You're right, that is a big chunk of coin. So if someone is taking the credit for someone's creativity just to get paid then I'd like to know. But the picture I submitted for reference was found just browsing the web.

Oh no, I haven't made up my mind yet. As a matter of fact, I saw a design earlier and commented on a couple of changes that needed to be made to it. Now it's not even on here anymore and I gave that design 5 stars as well. It was quite fantastic too. Yeah, with $400 on the line the decision won't be made lightly. That just shows what kind of detail I'm looking for.

I was looking at seduction. What you put about temptation is exactly what I was thinking when I had the idea for the cross and dagger. With the dagger approaching good from behind and the cross approaching evil from behind as if to say "I'm trying to persuade you to come more to my side".

After reading the description and the comments, what I got was that you want the good and evil characters in the same position and gender as the example given... but, you also want things such as the knife/dagger/sword and the cross, indicating battle/fight/war...
In the example given, it looks as if evil is seducing good... Is this what you would like? Or would you like a war between the two?.... or possibly both? "I want you but I'm trying to resist temptation and stay on the good side" deal with the daggers and cross...?

You are all artist, so you can be as artistic as you want. I'm not so one sighted that I wouldn't look at all submissions with open mind. If you want it to be two women then feel free. As long as it has the same concept as the picture and post I submitted. Do your thing and good luck to all. Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. The circle & cross is also very huge symbolically when it comes to Good VS Evil, so that incorperation was of no mistake. Refer back to the picture you put up as an example to see what I mean.

Hello,
I know you are aware that the tail concept that you are requesting would be virtually impossible to draw up, wrapping around your body, but I just wanted to let you know that you are seeking a piece representing good VS evil and as far as the symbolism with a dagger, or sword, that represents good, not evil, especially when you are referring to the spiritual realm that you are. So I have incorporated the dagger, and cross as one, with good above evil, in triumph, with both connected as one.

Evil and Angel Tail clarification

draggonsson85 brought up a good point, so I want to provide more clarity. Angels don't have tails so you can use your creative minds on how the cross comes around my body. He also mentioned that it would have to be done freehand because the way I want it wouldn't look right being drawn. But something so the tattoo artist has a base to go off of. Basically, the beginning end result and the tattoo artist can fill in the blanks. Thanks.

I posted a comment about the angel tail earlier. I don't know of an angel having a tail....lol. So you can use whatever imagination you can come up with for the cross coming around side. I just want the tattoo artist to have a basis to go off of since it won't look right drawing it completely on paper.

just to let you know that piece would have to be freehanded on you because of the fact that it will look incorrect on paper the tattoo artist will have to do that other then that i have a good idea of what you want i will get a drawing up soon

Also, a few other details with the dagger and cross. I want the dagger in the tail as if it was about to stab good in the back. As for good and the cross and I don't know of angels with tails so you can use any form you can creatively think of for the cross. I'd like it as if it was about to bless evil in some way. If anyone needs further clarification let me know and I'll try to explain it as best as I can.

I probably should've clarified that. I want to separate beings. Something like what I submitted in the example picture I posted With the two beings embracing. Male being devilish and female being angelic like. I want one tail to go along the back and meet in the front and vice versa. With one tail holding a dagger and the other holding a cross. That's why the payout is so much, I figured it'll be a little complicated.

So I would like more detail on what you're looking for. Did you want the scene to be just one person divided in half with good on one side and evil on the other, or are you open to two separate beings, fighting on each side?

Would you also like other background details, etc?
