fma design

i wanted to do something besides a plain cogwheel so this one has some angle & the wings already on your tattoo are covered with larger ones, I know the logo uses smaller wings but for the sake of design i think they look good bigger, therte is some shadowing to make them look like they are lifting from the skin. I did them directly over your design so they would cover the smaller ones easily.
I thought of doing this with the wheel ripped into the skin, like coming out of a tear, but didnt know if youd like it. I am a fan of the show myself so I could see this being a great idea for a start to a shoulderpiece, so many ideas!

yes, this was my first tattoo, and fma is one of my favorite shows, ultimately what i'd like to do eventually is get a ful color sleeve with this design providing alot of contrast on my shoulder after I add to it to eventually cover the whole shoulder. I'd like to keep it in the same style just so itdosent look out of place. The reason I went with cog wheels is that it makes it easy to add onto to eventually cover the whole shoulder. I'm open to any ideas you might come up with.

So just for clarification, did you intentionally get this tattoo as a reference to the anime, and if so, would you like to keep that kind of tone and theme going? Alternatively, are you interested in the concepts from which those symbols are derived?

Concepts from the anime, the actual historical practice of alchemy, or mythology surrounding the Ouroboros could yield a more cohesive and unique addition to your tattoo
