I think the only option I would want to see is the knots shaded a little bit so that the wording has more focus.

I like the vine of thorns so they have to stay. I like the vertical from the first design better both top and bottom. On the horizontal have it match the bottom of the first design just give it a little more shape. Take the font from the second design and darken it. It is hard to explain but I think the overall design that I am going to like is somewhere inbetween the two designs. I hope this helps. It may also look okay with adding thorns to the first design somehow, changing the font and shading the knots?

Ok, I can definitely make the changes you want, I'm just confused as to what you want me to change! Maybe just a better explanation of what you want me to do to the design??

I love the font and the thorns. I think that the shape and the shading lie in the middle. I like the curves of the first one with the black on the vertical so maybe it is just a change of the horizontal and maybe a little darker on Family and Faith. If all of this is possible I think I have a WINNER!

Maybe change the font on Family Faith to a less blocky type and a more flowing lighter styled celtic font would help it.

The bottom is great. Thinner would be better and all 4 points. I would like to see some thorned vines wraped but I think the knot work can stay if shaded to give it less of a focus. Shade in the lettering would is what I think will look best on the Family/Faith lettering. Hopefully I am not confusing you! The first one was 90% there I think.

Glad you like the design, thanks for the nice comments! I have a few questions clear up what revisions/changes you want.

Do you want me to complete eliminate the Celtic knotwork designs on the sides and bottom of the cross and leave the insides blank...then wrap some thorned vines around the cross?

Do you like the shape of the bottom point of the cross, if it was thinner and pointier? Would you want all 4 points of the cross to look like that?

Lastly do you want the FAMILY/FAITH lettering to not be solid black, like shade in the lettering? Or add more shading around it inside the cross itself?

Other than that I'll get to work, looking forward to your reply and thanks for again for the comments!

I was looking at it again and I think the shape needs a little tweaking and the large family and Faith lettering and design element needs to be softened up with some shading.

I like it a lot. Can you make it a little skinnier more pointy at the ends? Also maybe some thorn or vine work instead of the super dark design on the sides and bottom with shading. I think if you do this you could eliminate the other shading around it. I was glad to see a design from you I really like your work that I saw on the website. You did not disappoint!!!
