Summary:
Circle showing brotherly love/dependence
Description:
This tattoo will be in the centre of my back, and 14cm in diameter. In the centre will be the birthdates of my two sons. I'd like a circle comprised of two "ropes" - not really ropes, but strands of colour - one red, one blue. Dull-ish colours though, not bright. The main thing I want to demonstrate is that the two brothers love each other, support one another, and complete one another.
The attached pic is the closest I can find, but I want it to be: More of a circle; and the two stands much tighter, as if they've been pulled together.
Additional Details:
- Gender: Male
- Size: 14 x 14 centimeters
- Detail: Medium
- Winning artist must provide stencil / line work at completion of contest

In that extra pic (the one of a tatt), I'd like the strands thicker, thanks. And I meant to say "added", not "assed"!!

Re Design 1783: First, the strands of colour are perfect - exactly what I was after. The middle is a new concept for me, I'm not sure yet - will view and think. I like the concepts behind it and what it represents, just having a think about it.

The strands of colour in 1873/1784 are perfect - exactly what I was after. 1783 is interesting, I'm not sure what I think about it - just having a think. I like what it represents and the concept behind it.
Re 1784 that's also good - I'm basically looking for a heart that's not all girly and mushy.
These both look good, I look forward to seeing some other entries! Thanks everyone for their efforts so far.
I don't mean to jerk you around, its just that I'm discovering this as I go. I wonder if the strands of colour should be a bit narrower to accommodate the inside of the design? Thanks Jeleko, and I look forwrad to seeing yours too, Angela.
Thanks for your interest, I've just updated the description and assed another pic (see the link in the comment).
I'm interested in giving this design a shot, but I don't see the actual birthdates to put in the center of the design!
