The shadow looks much better and I like the clarity of the font of the initials and number.

Glad you like it so far, but I know what you mean with the shadow. Both designs used the exact shadow outline in the example picture you provided. I can tweek it to make it more defined.

Perhaps you may want to add that comment to your description, or you may get other subimssions that use the shadow outline exactly from the picture.

I like it so far, the hand and grip on the football look great. Just like the other entry I commented that I would like the outline of the shadow more defined. I know the way it's setup that its kind of angled, but the shoulders could look more even in size and the representation of the shoulders pads woundn't have to be as big. The arm on the left could look bigger, not so gimpy. While the one on the right could have more separation from the body and more definition of the ball being held out-stretched.
