clock and perch

not necessarily a grandfather clock, and owl on a separate perch opposite main tree. The Vincent stuff is a good mix of the two, if anything that but a touch less Gothic.

In the style of vincent?

Seems like a good combination of both Tim Burton and Edward Gorey.

There are a couple things I'm still not clear about.

Are you thinking of a grandfather clock style?

Is the perch that the owl sits on a branch from the cypress tree, a different tree out of view or a bird perch (crooked to match style)?

What species of owl are you looking for, in particular?

location

yes upper arm, the clock situated top middle and the owl to the left, the tree to the right.

Looking for the elements to creep off the sides, in other words I do not want all the art to fall into a square frame.

upper arm then?

Ok, well let's call it a sleeve piece bigger than 5by, and simplify the design as much as needed to make a good tattoo. I am open to whatever can be brought to the contest.

alwaysapril is more than probably right. what part of the body is it going on? this will not only help to determain a shape but a size as well. if you put that much stuff into a 5x5 space the black line work will run togather over the years and 5 years down the line you wont be able to tell what it was in the first place.

in order to have that much detail, this tattoo would have to be A LOT bigger then 5X5
