Summary:
Design of the celtic five-fold circle, but with additional symbols within the circles showing personalized attempt at balance
Description:
The tattoo will be either on the back of the shoulder or a sleeve around the upper arm and top of shoulder. I'd like the frame of the tattoo to be the celtic five fold circle symbol, with different individual celtic style symbols in each circle. Color should be minimal, primarily just shadowing - if any colors, just basic earth tones. The top circle should contain a symbol representing family, the bottom circle should contain a symbol representing strength, the right circle should contain a symbol representing brotherhood/warrior, the left circle should contain a symbol representing travel/adventure, and the middle of the overall design should be a cross.

Appended Description (December 17 2011 7:53am):
The size of the tattoo is flexible depending on final design and determination of location.
Appended Description (December 18 2011 7:53am):
The individual symbols within the circles can be inspired/influenced by other cultures as long as they represent the intended meanings and flow well into the overall design.

Sorry, I'm realizing my description of what I'm looking for isn't as clear as it should be. Will hopefully be able to extend the contest timeline because of that.
Basically, what I'm hoping for is that each of the four symbols would take up the entire circle they are in and overlap/interweave with each other - which is why it's important to come up with simple ways to represent those elements. And the cross would be incorporated either as a background element (so you just see the top, bottom, and sides), or just a simple element in the center interwoven with the other four - but not something that overpowers any of the other elements, just blends in with them.
I realize that parts of the base five circle symbol and parts of each of the other four symbols will get lost in this blending/weaving/overlapping together - and the final design won't necessarily be recognizable as any of them - but, that's kind of the point - just to come up with a completely unique, one-of-a-kind, cool design that blends these elements together into something where they all play an equal part and none of them stand on their own or overpower any of the others . . . Hopefully that makes sense.
And I understand it's asking for a lot to be crammed into a single design. Which is actually why I'm using this site instead of going to a random tattoo parlor . . . I really need a creative, artistic, out of the box thinker to figure out how to blend it all together . . .
Thanks and good luck.
