original and creative military tattoo dedicated to my fellow soldiers i deployed with. They truly are family.
Description:
I want a piece to be placed on my right upper arm, on the bicep area, pretty much like a half sleeve. I want something truly original to represent the guys i deployed with. These guys are truly my family and want a piece dedicated to them. I don't want any of the cheesy military tattooes i see on everyone else though. Im open to anything creative and artistic. no colors, or very limited if you can. If you use any lettering and i do prefer you do, try to do it in a creative font, not just plain text. Just to throw some ideas for the piece its self: family. honor. SWAT. MP. the 2id patch. rifles. OIF 09-10. desert sunsets. BE creative and im willing to throw $120 to anyone that can give me a great a tattoo design.

I dont really want the 2id patch to be very big in it, if u choose to use it, and def dont want it to be the centerpiece. Sunset being put in the background would be awesome and color on that would be fine. would like the text "family forever" somewhere in the sketch, in a creative font. not too much detail on the soldiers if u use em, more of like a shadow effect when utilizing people in the design. Open to more ideas though. ONLY 6 more days!

the reason i bring this up is I see your frustration in not seeing any submissions. Don't get me wrong - This is a GREAT website and I wouldn't be suprised if you get at least 10 seperate submissions in the next 2 days. the problem with the late submissions is that you cant give feedback to all of them.
I will start on my design for you today and hope to have something presentable by Tuesday night.
ONE REQUEST: CAN YOU POST A PICTURE OR A LINK TO A PICTURE THAT SHOWS YOUR RIGHT BICEP? IT WOULD REALLY HELP WITH THE PRESENTATION (see my past submissions)

I know you had menetioned you don't want much color? However, would you consider having the sunset as the only source of color?
I think the full effect of what you remember bout those moments would be captured with the nice orangish yellow colors of the sky

If you could, could you please tell me the most memorable moment being deployed with your fellow soliders? Maybe a story? The story could set the tone for the piece and I could incorporate some elements from it in the tattoo
Could you please give more details as to what you are looking for.
Do you want images of Soldiers interacting with each other, the 2ID patch a main part of the tattoo, etc.
I planned on doing something with the Chief head being the center piece with various scenes surrounding him.
Ex. Soldier helping another wounded Soldier, Soldier chilling on a .50 cal turret, etc.
