I love Alice in wonderland. Especially interpretations. Frank beddor's looking glass wars, nickolas cook's Alice in zombieland, and american mcgee's alice.

Yes, I am a fan of Edward Gorey art style, and of simplistic art styles in general, so I would love to see what you come up with :)
finally!

You're right, I could have at least given some sort of hints :)

Well, Alice is always a good one and I'd love to see people's interpretations of her, but since it is such a small space, I'm not quite sure how that will go...

I like most of the characters, but here are some that may work best in the small space:

The door mouse (maybe in a teacup or peeking out of a teapot)
The Caterpillar (with hookah)
The Cheshire Cat
The Mad Hatter

OR you could think of it as a theme, like just a simply wonky teacup, or JUST the mad hatters hat, or a chess piece, or a playing card (like the Ace), and accompany it with a quote. I don't mind just hinting at it, it doesn't HAVE to be blatantly out there. I'm really into the tea themes, and more into the chess theme than I am the playing card theme.

Quotes:

Try to avoid "we're all mad here" because that's what everyone gets.
"Sometimes, I've believed in as many as six impossible things before breakfast"
"Curiouser and curiouser!" (Which I know is a cliche one...but I like it)
"Everything's got a moral, if only you can find it"
"How is a raven like a writing desk?"
"Who are you"

Or if you want to just do text, you can do this one:

How doth the little crocodile
Improve his shining tail,
And pour the waters of the Nile
On every golden scale!

How cheerfully he seems to grin,
How neatly spreads his claws,
And welcomes little fishes in
With gently smiling jaws!
favorite character(s) or quote(s)?

Though I appreciate the open-ended liberty for designs, is there any particular character or quote from the book that you are really drawn to? Perhaps a few characters, quotes, or elements of the story that captivate you? I mean, the Cheshire Cat is great, but maybe you're not that wild about him. Any thoughts?
