Summary:
A namesake tattoo with fire elements. I am planning on giving my husband the design for Father's Day.
Description:
I would like to have a tattoo designed for my husband. He wants to start an arm sleeve but doesn't know how to begin. I would like the design to be a good, solid jumping off point for a potential sleeve but that will look good by itself, too. It should be designed for a large, muscular bicep. I would like to incorporate the following: Our son's name (Aidan Nichols) OR his initials (ANG); his DOB (January 3, 2008) and something that symbolizes fire (part of the meaning of his name).
Additional Details:
- Gender: Male
- Size: 5 x 5 inches
- Detail: Medium
- Winning artist must provide stencil / line work at completion of contest
Appended Description (June 5 2010 9:10pm):
My husband revealed to me today that he prefers initials. So, that would be ANG...
Payment Methods:
This contest has been pre-paid. The winning artist will be paid directly by CreateMyTattoo via Paypal.

Centered in the middle. Is there any way the thin out the bottom of the phoenix and make the name part more prominent? Kind of how you did with 4078 but with the design of 4076?
Thanks for your explanation, really helped...
Maybe the best thing to do would be work on just the initials. I think something really strong in script or italics. I'm still looking for fonts I can post. Here is a link to something I think he would like:

LightningChild, it is really hard to say band vs. free-form...honestly he seems open to both, Again, this is the first part of an entire arm he wishes to do. He has recently said wrist to shoulder on left arm where he presently has nothing....yikes! So, the sky's limit I guess! He did mention he has other people's initals he wants to incorporate eventually....if that helps at all.
Also, he said he likes solid script better than Old English....
Thanks,
