Adapt or change existing Trinity Knot on Wrist

Adapting a simple existing trinity knot into a more interesting design

Description:

I have a very simple Trinity Knot on my inner wrist which was kind of an impulse design and I have never really been happy with it. I would like to either adapt the existing trinity knot in some way, or to find a way to completely change it into a new (more free) design. I only want black please- no colours.

I am open to basic changes to the existing shape (have attached small flower type example) but ideally would like to completely adapt the design into something new. I have also attached an image of a tattoo that I really love which is more free-flowing, and have also used Photoshop to show how I would want that sort of design to sit on my wrist. I am aware that it couldnt be exactly like that if the existing knot shape has to be worked around, but I just wanted to show examples.

If only the knot itself was being changed then I would keep any changes pretty small around its existing shape, however if a completely new design is being created over & around it then I would be happy for it to extend up the left side of my wrist a bit (but not across to the right side). I would want it to be no more than 1.5" in length and 1" wide (ish!)
